  • Direct Interaction: When you fill out an enquiry form, enrol in a course, or complete a Pre-Training Review.
  • School/Partner Referrals: If you are participating through a school or community college, they may provide us with basic contact details to facilitate your enrolment.

Purpose of Collection

  • Deliver Training: Providing customized civics and advocacy education.
  • Compliance & Reporting: For ACE-funded programs, we may use de-identified data to report on learner progress (e.g., LLND improvement) to government bodies.

  • Communication: Sending course updates, certificates, and relevant civic resources.

Regardless of where you are located, VoiceUp grants you the following rights:

  • Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”): You may request that we delete your data, provided it is no longer required for legal or contractual obligations.

For participants under 15, we require the consent of a parent or guardian before collecting personal information. For school-based programs, we work closely with the educational institution to ensure all data handling aligns with NESA and Department of Education privacy standards.
