VoiceUp provides educational resources and training in civics, citizenship, and advocacy.

  • Civics Education: Our curriculum is designed to align with the NSW NESA Stage 5 syllabus.
  • Campaign Training: These sessions are non-accredited professional development courses. They do not result in a formal VET qualification or Statement of Attainment.

Intellectual Property (IP)

All materials provided during our courses—including workbooks, “Power Maps,” “Campaign Blueprints,” videos, and digital tools—are the intellectual property of VoiceUp.

  • Limited Licence: Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for personal or classroom use.
  • Restrictions: You may not record, reproduce, redistribute, or sell our course content or branding without express written permission from VoiceUp.

Accuracy of Information & Disclaimer

While our team provides information based on significant experience in the legal, political, and government sectors:

  • Not Legal Advice: The content provided is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal or professional political advice.
  • Impartiality: VoiceUp is a strictly apolitical organisation. Our case studies and practical information are provided to illustrate the mechanics of government, not to advocate for specific political outcomes.

Payment and Refunds

In accordance with Australian Consumer Law:

  • Cancellations: If you cancel your enrolment more than 7 days before a scheduled session, a full refund will be provided.
  • Change of Mind: We do not typically offer refunds for “change of mind” once a course has commenced or digital assets have been accessed.
  • Service Failure: If a session is cancelled by VoiceUp, you will be offered a full refund or a credit for a future session.

Privacy and Data Handling (GDPR)

Your privacy is paramount. We handle all personal data, including Pre-Training Reviews (PTR) and LLND assessment results, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

  • Consent: By using this site, you consent to the collection of data necessary for course delivery.
  • Data Portability: You have the right to request a copy of your student records at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceUp shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your participation in our programs or your use of our campaign strategies. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., successful legislative change) as a result of our training.
